Although not common-place, this technique is another useful addition to the arsenal.
Look for a sequence of four cells containing only two numbers, where one of the numbers 'flanks' a pair of the same number in the central two cells.
Any other occurrences of the number which 'flanks' the identical pair of numbers along the row or the column containing the four cells are isolated, and therefore must be painted (set).
